Celebrated filmmaker Eric Khoo directs video for Okamoto’s latest campaign

The number one condom brand in Japan, Okamoto, has partnered with internationally-acclaimed Singaporean film director Eric Khoo to launch a campaign celebrating the female orgasm. The campaign features a 30-second video that seeks to capture the beauty of women at the height of their pleasure. Roping in Eric Khoo to direct this piece was a natural fit as sexuality has always been a strong and consistent theme in his movies (from his debut feature Mee Pok Man to 12 Storeys to Be With Me). With over a billion travellers traversing the globe annually for all sorts of reasons be it work or leisure, one thing remains constant – souvenir buying. In the second installation of the Holiday Inn Souvenir Study, based on survey of 900 travellers, we take a closer look at the multi-million dollar souvenir industry through the habits and preferences of travellers across the region of Asia, Middle East and Africa. Some interesting findings of the survey: ​70% of travellers see buying souvenirs as an important part of their holiday The younger travellers are, the more importance they place on souvenirs. 76% of 25 year olds and below think souvenirs are important, compared to 68% who are above 65. 4 in 5 travellers from South East Asia are more than happy to accommodate souvenir requests from friends and family. Whenever I told my friends that I’ll be flying to Kalibo, these are the two reactions I received from them. One, huh? where is this place? Two, Oh~ so you are going Boracay? To be honest, I’ve no idea where Kalibo is located and when I first got to know that I’ll be travelling to Kalibo, I was alittle worried that there’s nothing much I can do there. EZ-LINK Presents ‘MY JOURNEY, MY HOME’ Card Design Art Competition

Joint art competition with Dyslexia Association of Singapore and National Arts Council will feature best depictions of the meaning of Singapore’s birthday on 200,000 pieces of ez-link cards, with EZ-Link donating part of sales proceeds to benefit children with dyslexia The art competition is the first of a series of activities that EZ-Link is organising to celebrate SG50. To make the competition even more meaningful, EZ-Link seeks to drive greater support towards children with dyslexia through this project with EZ-Link donating part of the sales proceeds of the cards to DAS. EZ-Link will contribute $0.25 from every card sold to DAS, with an aim to raise a total of S$50,000 to provide financial assistance to students with dyslexia at the primary and secondary levels from non-MOE schools who do not receive MOE grants for DAS programmes. The raised funds will widen the coverage of learning support to students who may not be able to afford the programmes without financial support and help them access much-needed programmes such as literacy, mathematics, Chinese language and Speech and Drama Arts, to improve their skills in these areas. Samsung Dream Exchange Campaign After my first trip outside a country in Asia and spending 9 Days 8 Nights in both Sydney and Melbourne, I’m finally publishing my very first travel photo e-book on darrenbloggie.com. All these would not have been possible without my Samsung NX3000 as my wonderful travel companion. Thanks Samsung for helping me to make everlasting memories. Throughout the trip, the Samsung NX3000 never failed to surprise me with the wonders it’s able to create! Not only did the photo quality turn out to be superb (as good as a DSLR camera), colors were vibrant, shutter speed was fast enough to capture real sharp images of moving objects, and most importantly, it performed better than what I would have expected under low light conditions! Dream Exchange with Samsung NX3000

Samsung Dream Exchange Campaign I’ve always had an interest in photography. It allows me to capture the moment and keep it as a part of my memory. There’s always a story to tell from a photo and I always love those photobooks which have really nice photos, especially travel photobooks showcasing the wonders of the places visited. From these photos, you get to visit places without being there and have a better understanding of how the place looks like, more about the culture and the heritage. That’s something that I would like to do!
