糖水春 Sweet Spring Dessert

A chill out night with my bbfs at this dessert stall, 糖水春 Tang Shui Chun located at the second level of AMK Hub. Quite like the setting and ambience of the stall, espcially with those marble top tables and wooden stool. 🙂 One of the signature dessert there is this.. Beancurd and it’s served in a bucket! 😀 unique right? as i can’t have beancurd, i ordered this… Jasmine Milk Tea with Jellies Bits Scooping up the beancurd… They provide you the sugar syrup in a container for you to decide on how much you want to add onto your beancurd. That’s really thoughtful of them 🙂 You can also order some add-ons for your beancurd at extra charges as well 🙂 We ordered sea coconut.. not forgetting some camwhoring shots while enjoying the beancurd ~ Wee~~ it’s a great place to chill out with your friends ! 🙂 糖水春 Sweet Spring Dessert @ AMK Hub Address : Ang Mo Kio Hub 53 Ang Mo Kio Avenue 3 #02-19/20/21 Contact No. : 6753 9856

Fu Lin Tou Fu Yuen (Fu Lin Beans & Garden)

Tried out this Fu Lin Tou Fu Yuen (Fu Lin Beans & Garden) yong tau foo stall opened not long ago along Telok Ayer Street, which is just opps where i’m working at. For friends whom know me well, i can’t take in bean or nuts products as i’ve arthritis, therefore those items that i can pick for yong tau foo are kinda limited as well as you can see from the image above 😛 The noodle is one of my favourite as it’s really nice! with that special sauce mixed with minced meat in it, marvelous! its alittle similar to those zha jiang mian from taiwan and szechuan.. A total of 6 pieces of yong tau foo, with the noodle and a cup of drink cost me $6.30. Slightly more expensive than those u bought from the hawker center. Overall i think it’s still a must try, especially the noodles 😛 Fu Lin Tou Fu Yuen (Fu Lin Beans & Garden) 130 Telok Ayer Street Telok Ayer

Dinner at Old Aiport Road

I’ve always been looking forward to our usual friday night meet up, especially after a full 5 working days to distress ourselves 🙂 Food is always a must as part of our meet-up itinerary. It doesn’t really have to be a expensive meal, a simple, cheap and good dinner at the hawker center is more than enough 🙂 This time round, we had our dinner at the Old Airport Road 🙂 something different… Love it 🙂 *ps : the fried hokkien prawn noodle looks good but it’s not really that nice. Quite tasteless.. but the fried carrot cake is nice 🙂 * ok. im like becoming more and more like a food blogger huh? lol~~

Ramen Play @ Somerset 313

Trying out this new ramen outlet at somerset 313 with bbfs on friday night. We decided to order the mini value combo which comes with a mini ramen, a side dish and a drink, all at a price of $11.80 I ordered the Mini Tonkotsu Ramen as i would like to try out the soup base of the ramen. Indeed, it didn’t disappoint me. the soup is really very tasty and rich. LOVE IT! since its a mini bowl, it’s served with a slice of pork, egg and of course the ramen. Surprisingly, i think the mini portion is enough for me. I think you don’t really need to order the normal portion as i guess it’s just a bigger bowl that they used to make u think that the portion is larger. Pick your poison, Let’s Play! You can add them onto your ramen to spice up your taste bud ! Some of the side dishes that we’ve ordered… Salad vege roll… Bamboo Chicken.. afterall, i think the side dish all so so only.. …

The Great Night Sale At the Mandarin Gallery

Met up with my bbfs on friday night for our late night shopping as we’ve registered for the $40 mandarin gallery shopping vouchers giveaway! 😀 The very first impression that we have for mandarin gallery was, it’s not a place for us and the stuff over there are much more expensive. Not that we cannot afford or what, but we are rather calculative in what we spend on… ( its good as u can control your expenses better this way ). So.. we happily went over there to collect our $40 vouchers! 😀 but only to realize that we can only spend $10 on every level… 😦 Let’s get started!! 😀 but…. the sale will start officially at 9pm.. so we went to visit a mini art gallery located in the mandarin gallery before we head down to somerset 313 for dinner … complimentary free flow of popcorn and coke for all shoppers! Dinner time! GO GO CURRY ~! woo hoo~~ but the cheese didn’t melt in time as they forgotten to add in while …
