    • it was because i’ve dyed my hair previously… and this colour is somehow similar to my previous colour, but it turns out to be abit darker than my previous one. overall i think it still looks ok haha… the colour i used is MILK TEA BROWN :D

  1. Hi,
Can I ask? Eh… When you use, did you finished the entire bottle?
I have very long hair, so from your opinion, do I need to get 2 bottles instead?
    Thanks!!!

    • Nope, the colour are quite lasting. it may not seem very bright or similar to the colours you see on the packaging when u’ve just dyed your hair. but after ard 1 to 2 weeks later, the colour tends to become much more brighter and you’ll see similar colours to what you saw on the packaging. For hair damaging, the foam bubble hair dye contains amino acid which is kinda beneficial to our hair, one way or another minimize the damage to our hair. but it’s recommended that u condition ur hair frequently :D

  2. alrite. n do i use the entire contents given in the package? as i’ve long hair. so i should use all of it? n juz shake the mixture rite?

  3. Hi nice colour. I was wondering if you need to use a special shampoo to lock in the colour so that it stays longer. Or do you use your normal shampoo?

  4. Hello. Uhmm, does this product really even the colour ? I was wondering if this way of dying hair would stain the sculp. Does it ? Sorryy.. Quite curious. >.<

  5. Hehe, yay. (: Thanks. Care to answer another question ? I’m born with inherited white hair, also known as pre-mature greying of hair. My hair looks kind of bleached with a white strip of white at my fringe. Do you think the hair dye will give me ‘automatic’ highlights ? Hahahahaha.

  6. Hey, just asking but do i need to wait for 2-3 days(Just like any other dyes) for the colour to sink in before washing my hair again?

  8. This post is quite well done! Thanks for the info you’ve shared.
Btw, I bought it at $17.50, you can find this product at around $17-$18 in shops that sells daily products that are mostly managed by aunties. hahas.
I bought it in katong shopping centre.

  9. hi… my hair got 2 colors(black + brown) and with some highlight. Is that will turn out to 2 colors when i apply the bubble hair color that i choose?

  10. Your hair colour from this foam looks stunning. Which one did you use?

Also, did you use it over already dyed hair or your natural hair colour?

    Cheers!

    • thanks! i used it over my fading hair colour which i dye quite some time ago. for this hairdye, the result will turn out really great, especially if you have ur hair dyed before. if ur hair is currently black in colour, then the result will not be that prominent, but still acceptable. :) i just redyed my hair again after a haircut. now the colour as prominent as the one u see here. you can check out my latest pic if u wan :D

  11. ic. Thanks your suggestions. Do you know where can buy the glossy brown? Because i can’t find this color in Ntuc, watson and guardian. By the way, is this color will turn out very bright or depends?

    • Hmm i did saw that a few weeks ago at the watson store in compass point. not sure if they still have it. for the colors, the brightness depends on ur current hair color as well.. :)

  12. Hey, I wanna ask. If I have black hair, how can I get it to the light colour I want. Does blow drying help? Or doing it twice work?

    Thanks

    • Hi! usually the colour wouldn’t be very similar to the colour u see in the package as you’re dying your hair from black to a brighter colour. but after a few times of dying, the colour will eventually lighten. For me, i will do a redye or touching up a month or 2 after my first dye. :) You will then see a lighter tone in your hair colour as you’re now dying from a coloured hair to another lighter colour instead of dying from black.

however, blow drying of hair do helps too :D

  13. Hi! I stumbled onto your post after googling for Liese hair color… the box that i bought today is actually named “Prettia.” (Probably because I bought it in US.. everything in it is Japanese so I had tons of trouble looking for Eng or Chinese instructions!) Anyways, I finally found instructions that I can understand but I am a bit disappointed w/ the results. My natural color is very black and I had colored it 3 weeks ago so it was dark brown.. then I tried Liese in light brown and it is still pretty dark.. a lot darker than the box. How many tries does it take to get it light? I wonder if it is possible.. btw I like your blog.. keep it up =)

  14. Hi! Find this post very useful bro! Some questions to highlight, cos i just reach home after exercising.

    Do i have to:
    1. Go bath first then continue to dye my hair

    or

    2. Dye hair first and after that go bath.

Will the colour of the hair fade away or something? Thank you so much =)

    • Hi, i would suggest you to go wash your hair, blow dry before dying it.. as you just came back exercising. as for the fading, it’s quite lasting for a month to 2. for me i find it kinda lasting :D . most importantly, it’s easy to use :)

  15. i wanted to dye my hair but soo sad school does not allow if i die my hair my parents would kill me anyways trying to save up so don wanna spend unecessary money haha

  18. As stated this is milk tea brown color tat u’re using right? You say it’s darker compare to the previous one. Which color did you use previously before milk tea brown? Which color is more brown among all the kao liese?

    • oh, i think u mistook what i say previously :)

ok, my first colour was milk tea brown, and the second colour was ash brown (which is darker than the milk tea brown) so if you are looking for a more brownish and brighter colour, get the milk tea brown. its under the brightest category in the whole liese bubble hair colour range :)

    • hi! u mean the colour was not very obvious? hmm i would suggest you to dye it again probably 2 weeks later. as my hair was dye from slightly a little brownish to this colour. usually, if you are dying from black to another colour, it wouldn’t be very obvious. :) hope this help.

  20. Erm just wanna ask u do use straigteners rite? i have been using straighteners for a few mths and i am gettin alot of deadends. any advise?

    • the colour will be there. but it may nt be as bright as the colour from the one u saw on the packaging. if you are looking for one which will not look obvious, then i dun really suggest this colour. maybe dark brown will be a more appropriate color.

  21. What color from liese hair dye would you recommend me? :) chestnut brown? Milktea brown? Haha but my hair is like jet black so the colors might not really show as much right? :)

  22. hi darren

i want to ask is liese copper brown or milktea colour .

if i have dark hair , then i dye my liese copper brown or milktea colour , will the colour obvious only when you are expose to sunlight .

i want to have the colour when no sunlight or light .

DO i need to bleach my hair first ????

if i have lighter hair , will the colour be seen even without sunlight .

hope you can reply soon ( ASAP )
cos i buying liese today or tomorrow ???

    Byes

    • Hi, if you are currently having darker hair, the color will not be very obvious when indoor, but still visible. If you want lighter or more similar to the color shown on the packaging, its recommended to either bleach your hair first or to redye again the color after 2 weeks. :)

  23. Hey! I just used ‘Dark chocolate’ and i dont really like the colour :\ i prefer my natural one (which already is kinda similar to dark chocolate!).. what can i do to ‘remove’ it? any tips? xx
And how long does it last for? If i keep washing it for the following few days, will it fade a bit?

  24. Hi can i ask which of these liese colours look like this > (aaron yan’s hair colour in this photo)

    http://www.google.com.sg/imglanding?q=aaron+yan+hairstyle&um=1&hl=en&sa=G&tbs=isch:1&tbnid=YeFwHFwLRzALxM:&imgrefurl=http://www.soompi.com/forums/topic/195423-whos-that-celebrity/page__st__1040&imgurl=http://img205.imageshack.us/img205/8640/39060223.jpg&zoom=1&w=200&h=288&iact=hc&ei=rYUTTdyyOcrzcdTO2L0K&oei=moUTTa6XA82mrAfpq63LCw&esq=5&page=5&tbnh=140&tbnw=97&start=71&ndsp=16&ved=1t:429,r:12,s:71&biw=1024&bih=587

i can’t get obvious bright colours because i still have school,so any colour to recommend?looks abit brown but looks like black(if nvr see properly) those kind, not too obvious ones

  25. Hi,Sorry to ask again :X, i m gonna cut hair soon,do you think should i dye first ,then cut, OR cut first then dye, because think the colour or the hair is gonna affect the layered look(cutting layered) would it be better for the hairstylist to cut it if my hair wasn’t that black, as the layers would be seen easier?

    • Hi! that is a very good qns.. haha! as for me, i didn’t experience such problems.. maybe i dye my hair quite frequently LOL! but i guess the best way is still to dye the whole head again :)

  26. Hi,i used the dark chocolate dye,i followed everything it stated on it,but my hair like no change like black lidat(hair originally was black),but light shine only abit shade of brown, den i notice i didn’t use the small packet(hair lotion?) i jst washed awaywithout the lotion, lidat will affect mah ar?u recommend me dying again?i got leftovers, shld i use them all to dye again

    • as its dark chocolate, therefore the colour wouldn’t be that obvious i supposed.. u actually have to mixed everything together shake well and use them. try to use as much as possible of the mixture in the bottle. if there’s left over u need to dispense them away. So by right, you shouldn’t be having left over unmixed mixtures ah~

  27. Hi, Is there a certain brand/kind of shampoo/conditioner that is best paired to use after you dye your hair with the Liese Bubble Hair Dye so that you can prolong the color.

I guess I am a tad bit confused as to the taking care of the hair afterwards part. Should you wash out the foam with just water, or a certain shampoo? Do you avoid washing it for a couple days after as well?

Also, It will be my first time dying my black hair, so you think it won’t exactly take up the color said on the box?

    • Hi! there isn’t a particular brand of shampoo/conditioner to use. You will just need to use water to rinse off the foam, then do you usual shampoo and apply the conditioner they’ve provided. i shampoo my hair daily ;)

since you are dying from black hair, the color may not be as bright as u see on the box ;)
