A day out with my mum

While having breakfast in the morning today, my mum was kinda tempted to go for a walk in town and since there isn’t much work over at her work place, therefore she decided to take a half day off 
Just when i was about to leave home to meet up with her, it was raining like nobody business… sianz =.=
First we went over to Orchard Central and i simply dislike it.. although some of the installations inside are rather cool and unique, but the place is simple like a maze! it’s like it isn’t linked up at all… u can’t walk from the right wing to the left wing but u need to walk from the center to the right wing, walked back to the center again before u can proceed over to the left wing.. i supposed it might be due to the ongoing renovations over there now.. but there’s another good point that i wanna mention is that they provides alot of seats in the shopping mall.. mostly are sofa… so you can relax in one corner with your frenz or simply use ur lappy there if they provide wifi services

Next, we proceed over to takashimaya where my mum managed to bought some stuff over there.. Had our lunch at the foodcourt and i ordered this chicken ramen which taste superbly bland… yucks…
the wanton u see in the pic is provided by my mum as she ordered yong tau foo which taste and look simple so much better than mine.. 
Continued shopping ard wisma then to C.K Tangs before heading back home. Went over to popular to pre-order my S.H.E Book

Job Interviews Experiences

been going for interviews for the past few weeks and this week, i’m FILLED with interviews everyday ! ahaha. 2 on Monday, 2 on Tuesday, 1 yesterday, 1 today and another one more tmr! wow… and thanks rachel for giving me this nickname as a “interviewer” lol
Here to share some experiences i had during all these interviews i attended.
The very first interview i went after i left omy was a big organization. It bet almost all singaporeans would have uses their services.. especially on weekends. Managed to think of any?
A time was scheduled and arranged for a interview in the afternoon and i was there rather early, 30 mins earlier. So i waited till the time they’ve arranged, and approached the security for directions as i couldn’t enter the reception area, or the details given to me was wrong. But to my surprise, they told me that this is their lunch hour and no one is ard in office.. probably u check back again in 10 mins time? I was like WTH =.=
So i waited for a little bit longer and went back to them again. This time round, they told me, the lunch hour is from * to * , so they won’t be back that soon… I’m kinda pissed with that, but i decided to wait a little longer. and guess how long i’ve waited? More than an hour! In the end, i decided to leave.
What a impression you’ve given me!? So what if you’re a big organization? You make arrangement for interview during ur lunch hour? and u happily went for you lunch and leave your interviewees waiting there aimlessly~!
Another bad experience was this company, they placed an adv on the papers, stating “Looking for a Graphic Designer”. but it turns out to be another position when i went for the interview. CRAPPED!!
Another one more, these are the job scope and criteria given to you : 5 and a half day work week, 9 to 7, might need to work late on all days, might need to work on Sunday as well, NO OT PAY, will need to work till late like 2 to 3 am and there will be no transport claim given. All this for a salary of $1200… HARLO~!!! How are you going to survive with that?! siao ah`!
Finally at last, i managed to get a job offer from a company that i think should be great and i would be able to learn more from. So after the interview tmr with another company, i’ll decide and confirm on the offer

今天，到了tjpg面试工作。。。 大热天的， 几乎要了我的命！ 哈哈哈。。。
还好之前有到那一代面试工作，所以很快的就找到了这间公司。
预定面试时间是1点，我还算准时，1点钟就到了:) 可是，老板不在。所以就在那里等到了快1.30分他才终于出现。
见面的第一句话尽让我不知所措。。。
老板： 你之前在oh my god工作对吗？sph对吗？
我：是啊。。。 是omy 不是 oh my god.
老板： 我们对sph比较没兴趣， 我们只做过新传媒的生意。
我：无言中~~~~ =.=
就这样， 让他看了看我的portfolio之后，他却说。。。
老板：那些网页好像没什么。。。 我想学校里的学生应该也会吧。。。你们的设计比较俏皮(fun) ， 我们则是比较端庄(corporate)， 向你那些我们应该是不会接受，我想通通退回吧。 我们也没有打算，更不可能会去接那种生意。。。
心想。。。 是哪种生意啊？ 搞什么嘛， 我和你有仇哦？！毕竟我是来job interview， 不是来给你亏！而且我得知的是来freelance graphic design 的面试而不是 web designer… 你搞清楚好不好！ 什么也不想谈， 只想马上立刻离开那里。。。 =.=
之后， 到了purvis st 面试，那里的人好多了。。。 我们也很谈得来， 希望能够得到那份工作。。。
最近一直在积极地找工，而昨天也有了回复，但是总觉得这公司怪怪的。。 而且我想我对这份工没有太大的把握去做好。我想如果你对你的工作没有兴趣，那你就不会有那股推动力去把工作完成，并且做得更好。 也不会开心吧。 所以咧， 我决定放弃，希望能够找到一份更好的工作。

Met up with rachel, diana and jac last night for dinner at amk, a dinner just before diana fly off tonight for her china trip with zhiwei and his parents. We ordered quite alot of food! Rachel and jac ordered the prawn noodles, diana ordered fish soup while i ordered bo zai mian.. other than the above so called main dish for us, we ordered side dishes to share as well there’s carrot cake, fried oyster and indian rojak ! muahahahahaha ~~~ and surprisingly, we managed to finish all the food 
Not forgetting dessert we’re sure that we do can eat alot hahaha
Bon Voyage to my dear friend diana and zhi wei! hope you enjoy ur trip to china and rmb to bring something back for us AHAHAHAHAHA see you guyz soon !

Lunch on saturday with rachel and jac at the newly opened Xin Wang Taiwan Cafe They sell taiwan food instead of the normal hongkong cafe-styled of food. Therefore, we ordered quite a few side dishes looks like we are the only table filled with lots of dishes LOL~

第20届台湾金曲奖在周六圆满落幕，你对这届的得奖名单有什么看法呢？老实说，自从S.H.E没有入围金曲奖之后，就没什么追看以及留意于金曲奖有关的消息了。今年的金曲奖可说是星光暗淡，不过，还好看到了一些比较熟悉的歌手如燕姿，宥嘉，小猪的出现。可是，我还是没有守在电视机前观看， 反而约了好友出去玩！哈哈哈~

Received this FOOD|DRINK coupon in my mailbox a few days ago. Was quite happy with it as there’s one outlet of the food court nearby my place, and we usually buy our dinner there. So with this $8 worth of FOOD|DRINK coupon, i think we can save quite abit
But, something just pissed me off. Guess what?! these coupons can only be used for certain selected items from the stalls only. Example, you cannot use this coupon if u intend to buy a cup of coffee, but u can use it if u purchase the set meal which consist of coffee and bread. i was like WTH?! I simply only want coffee. Another example, if u intend to buy a bowl of fishball noodles, you cannot use the coupon as well, but u can use it if u buy a bowl of laksa? -_-”
I mean this is simply ridiculous la… What is the purpose of you issuing out these FOOD | DRINK coupon? I’m emphasizing on the word FOOD|DRINK coupon written on it.
This is simply just a useless coupon…

Going for a few interview later on. haiz.. interviews again.. when can i officially get a job? hopefully i can start work official in July.. Cannot drag any longer as i need a stable income so i can save..
